Our Director

Meet Dana Pickens, our dedicated director and highly experienced speech pathologist at
Flourish Healthcare: Speech Pathology.
Dana prioritises collaboration with clients to provide personalised and effective therapy. With a passion for helping individuals communicate and flourish, Dana provides services with expertise and compassion.
Dana holds a Master of Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Sydney and is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia. She is trained in a wide range of evidence-based approaches, including:

SOS Approach to Feeding – supporting children to build a positive relationship with food

Dana has a special interest in literacy, speech, and feeding development. She has experience working with children with a range of developmental delays and disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, developmental language disorder, and speech sound disorders. She also supports adults with acquired conditions such as stroke and traumatic brain injury (TBI).
